2011 CCIMB 3rd Prize Winner, SRDJAN BULAT

will perform at the event Piera degli Esposti reads Oriana Fallaci, on the occasion of the XVII Ornella Geraldini - Women in Journalism Award 2012 and the 20th anniversary of her death. The event, organized by the Order and Foundation of Certified Accountants in Bologna, takes place on wednesday 18 April 2012, at the Salone della Guardia di Palazzo Caprara Montpensier, kindly made available by the Perfettura di Bologna. The event is not open to the public!

2011 CCIMB winner PETRIT ÇEKU

has been selected for the prestigious Rising Stars, series 2012/2013 organized by the Allgemeine Musikgesellschaft Basel, Switzerland. THE COMPETITION

 

 

The first edition of the International Classical Guitar Competition Maurizio Biasini will be held October 10–16, 2011 in Bologna, at the Villa Gandolfi Pallavicini.
The competition is organized in memory of Maurizio Biasini, a physicist of international stature as well as an outstanding classical guitarist.
Young, talented classical guitarists from all over the world are invited to participate in this important event, which foresees a concert with orchestra in the final round of the competition. The first prize is a cash award of € 12,000 and the opportunity to perform in two concerts (in Bologna and in Basel). The total value of cash prizes is € 20,000.
Numerous additional prizes, which include promotional material for the canditates, will be awarded. The Jury will be composed of eminent classical guitarists and musicians from the USA, Switzerland, Italy, and other European countries.

The competition is organized by the Association International Guitar Competition Maurizio Biasini in collaboration with the Fondazione Alma Mater of the University of Bologna. It takes place under the patronage of The City of Bologna and is part of the events of Bologna City of Music – UNESCO 2011. The Funding is provided by the Guth Biasini family and the CARISBO Foundation .
